SUX being in construction during the winter and bad economlical times, I am applying for jobs so I can have money coming in and not rely solely on my savings

well it has been 3 weeks now and a few close but no cigar I would have been working but the contractor I work for decided he had enough saved back to not line up anymore jobs till the spring, so it was a few weeks ealier than I expected.

That hurts!!!! You might wanna come down here to the Gulf Coast and work down here....You'd have to be a seasonal/migrant worker, but the hurricanes have made the building industry go wild!!!!! What part of construction do you do anyway?????? I need my house interior rebuilt!!! |

I actually had a police officer call me on the phone when I was driving! I politely answered, said "I am driving, call me back in 30 minutes." Hung up the phone. 30 minutes later he called. He was quite impressed.  Ended up going on a few dinners with him. Still friends to this day. |
