Thats actually true. Im not saying its right or fair but that is traditional in Hindi culture. It doesnt still go on today in all cases but it will sometimes with immigrants even in the US or Canada. Generally now dowries will consist of the bride's family giving some money to the groom's. In rural India it would be livestock and so forth. |

yes I know about indian culture.......I grew up with 1.5 million of them. I know about arranged marriages as well and I also know how the "indian" race views white women.
At this point.....if I get married again.....I do not think my dad is going to give me anything or even show up.....
