Topic: A Few Extra Pounds... - part 2 | |
---|---|
Bumping my thread back into action. My contribution to the cause! I read a profile that called us "bubbly". I really liked that, it was cute. But, I reeeeally want to be voluptuous, darn it! |

Ok, what is the range that we are talking about here? I mean, when does "a few extra pounds" turn into "I have a loaf of bread hidden somewhere on me"? Frankly, I have seen people that claim to have a few extra pounds but really have a few extra people. Maybe I am just a little on the pessimistic side because I am very health / diet conscious. It just seems that the phrase is covering a larger spread than it should be...no pun intended. :)

JMO..hope I didnt offend anyone!!!!!! |

JMO..hope I didnt offend anyone!!!!!! You made some good points and certainly didn't offend me. I'm not 300 pounds, but I'm way more than a few extra pounds, thus I used the only other option...."heavyset". I probably have ran off men and will continue to do so by making sure they understand that I am a big girl. The last thing I want is some big understanding about weight. The guy I'm talking to now I actually gave a number....something I wouldn't dream about doing in the past. But heck, it's not something you can really hide if you honestly and sincerely plan to meet someone. And wow, you've been through a lot girl! Hugs to you! |

I have to laugh and glad you found humor in it too Missy - our outer shells are just that outer shells.
Some care about the packaging, I care about the contents. But like I keep posting my disclaimer - this is my opinion and only speaking on myself. |
