There are some incredible people on this site, but I don't think that is a surprise to most of us.

I was surprised today to receive a very generous gift, of my Thanksgiving dinner, from a couple of people on here. It was a conspiracy among a few people, one of my friends asked my address a few days ago and I gave it to him, and then low and behold I have my Thanksgiving dinner delivered today.

I want to thank the people involved, I won't name names as I don't know if they would want me to, but you have touched my heart. To tell you the truth, Thanksgiving was the last thing on my mind these days with the funeral coming up Saturday and all, and I just want to thank you so much for your kind thoughtfulness. I just hope that some day I can do something half as nice for you.

Anyone who sees this post should realize that there is hope. It impresses me that online friends do things for others, that real life friends haven't thought to do.

It has been a hard couple of weeks, dad passed on the 10th, the funeral is the 22nd.

I truly do feel like many of the people on here are my family and I am grateful to have them(you) in my life.
