Read to me the sky
does She sob for us? Smiling beams; perhaps inspiration Or, come to bribes only failed and unseen Ritualistic blindness are we all And Her rage sweeps wide left untouched are none Still unchanged deliberate ignorance chosen No messege bends our dominance Written pleas among clouds She gives this last even to my mind, this warning lost so please! Read to me the sky Nene |

Trickling moisture glistens
down ruddy cheeks And, half attempts to stem the flow leaves smudged blotches A warpaint of earth signifies this battle With ever growing twisted green monsters Which hold hostage his garden creations Of proud and glorious blossoms thier heads held high The remaining dignity displayed as bursts of rainbow hues Thier only weapon, aids in thier keepers war Against his hardy nemesis Called Weeds nene |

If you reach my heart, tend it well...
If you take my hand, be willing to hold on We are not above hurting, or failure Defeat is a myth, if it must be... Walk around the hurdle, if your legs cannot carry you over Choices...Outside thinking of the trap in our heads Remember your ripples And all of those you touch... nene |

The Nature Of Sky
Sky is nature; Sky is dark and light. Sky is blue, cloudy, Grey and white. Sky is air and it breathes with wind. Sky changes; Lightening's friend. Sky can be sad; Clouds can weep. Sky can refresh; Clouds can sleep. Sky is attached; Ground hugs Sky. Sky is alive; With it birds can fly. Sky touches us all; Sky can be thin. Sky is vulnerable; Sky is our friend. Sky loves water; Sky sucks it up. Sky loses water; Sky has leaky cup. Sky likes kites; Sky likes to fly, too. Sky likes space; Sky prefers blue. Sky likes grass; Grass waves at Sky. Sky likes trees; Trees notice Sky. |

Storms of life roll in like
waves unfurling fiery scrolls. But each will pass. Then comes the calm, the period of repose. So when those storms of life surge in, no need to be forlorn. Ride out each wave with inner calm. Then surge ahead with inner storm…. |

Bustling house is hushed now.
Breathes and stretches out. Piles of rumpled, dusty clothes Tell stories of adventures had. Lucerne hay in pockets From the pony that was fed. Sand and gravel in the socks, From cowboys rough ride games. Cat hair on the jumper From marmalade kittens cuddled close. Dog hair on the t shirt From wrestling on the lawn. Sleeping angel snoozing Tiny hands tucked under chin. Stray hair falls across her face As she sighs and snuggles in tight. Tired venturer slumbers now Worn out from her day. Big brother's voice is deeper From his challenges and woes. Skinned knees and goofy grins As eyes shine bright in telling. He stands a little taller From his brush with bucking bulls. This house does rest now, Quiet, and relaxed. Darkness holds the angels safe To wander in their dreams. Shifting blankets closer Their smells of sun, and earth. Thankyou for the joy you bring The love you grow in me. Sleep my children, safe and sound As I revel in mother love. As everyday is Mother's day, When you are in my world. For my children. |

Tis the nature of things
To ebb and flow. For the sun to rise And the sun to set. Tis the nature of things To be dark and light. For light to shine And shadows hold. Tis the nature of things To feel you close. For the distance to be small And yet miss you. Tis the nature of things To love and to like For hearts to hear And minds to mesh. Tis the nature of things To miss you, Nene. |

If I wasn't to ask questions,
would I be able to define me? If I didn't look beyond me, would I be too blind to see? If I closed my ears to others, would I not be able to hear? If I took away the courage, would I always live in fear? If I stood still and silent, would I lose all momentum? If I wasn't my own illusion, would I become ad finitum? Who am I to ask this, who am I to care? Am I just a shadow on the film, of another's passing stare? |

Silence, warm and soft, holds tight.
Closeness, without hearing you breathe. Seeing, you with eyes closed. Heart, wrapped around us both. Moments, too many and not enough. Speak to me, in the silences, See me, in your dreams, Love me, tangled in your heart, Remember me, for all eternity. As I do you. |

Inside, outside
Upside down. Backwards, forwards Round and round. One step, two step Twirl and twist around Side-step, back step Shimmy, shake, and ground. Dance on tip toes, Shuffle over here. Feet placed just so, Slide over there. Take the lead, I will follow. All through night And into tomorrow. Inside, outside Upside down. Backwards, forwards, Round and round. Just dancing.. |

Rumi Tism
Aw, the wonder and the nature of things. Burning sand and flowers the rain brings. Endless desert with sand dunes so pretty. An oasis of utter beauty; Devoid of vanity. Virgin tracks swept by the howling wind. Dried bones polished; Yorick, my friend. Warmth in the day; Coldness in the night. My aching bones try to take in the sight. My camel is thirsty; Its has been a week. I suck on the rock; My knapsack is bleak. The mirages become real; Sahara is dry. The camel snorts; I feel rain in my thigh. A nomad greets me; The sun is fading. We both notice; Comes great shading. Clouds in the desert; Moisture in the air. We take off our robes; Rain we will share. My camel knickers in glee; His licks dew. In my thoughts; I try to remember you. Another beautiful day in the desert bliss. She touches me deeply; I feel her kiss. |
