I see it like this. either a fetus is a human or it is not. The big problem I have is the law has 2 totally different opinions on the matter. A mother has the right to abort a fetus. Yet if someone causes her to abort the fetus then it is manslaughter or 2nd degree murder. ie.. a drunk hits a car and the woman miscarraiges. The driver can be guilty of a crime as above. But if at the same time she was going to get an abortion. Same result. It is her right. Can someone explain to me how this is equality in the law. everyone treated the same. Can you please explain to me how this is not on topic. what is it you want My religion says the law is equal to all people. No discrimination at all. That is a religious belief. It is also what our laws claims to be. You seem to want your cake and eat it 2. make some sence |

Im not certain as to what kind of point your getting at, but you used religion, debate and sexuality alot in your paragraph. Sum it up a tad, Not soo many words and perhapse make it a bit more simple. |

Im try not to confuse myself.
If we are talking about abortion on a public forum and YOU bring your religon into it. How far am I allowed to go to get my "understanding" of your religon. MY religon is posted other on this site. But I will share them with if you ask. |

not to get long winded or anything...but...here's a little something I posted the other day...it didn't garner many responses...but...it's quite profound...it's makes so much sense, and shows you why governemnt caused the great divide i this country...abortion being at the top of the list...
Different Americans have different and intensive preferences for cars, food, clothing and entertainment. For example, some Americans love opera and hate rock and roll. Others have opposite preferences, loving rock and roll and hating opera. When's the last time you heard of rock and roll lovers in conflict with opera lovers? It seldom if ever happens. Why? Those who love operas get what they want and those who love rock and roll get what they want and both can live in peace with one another. Suppose that instead of freedom in the music market, decisions on what kind of music people could listen to were made in the political arena. It would be either opera or rock and roll. Rock and rollers would be lined up against opera lovers. Why? It's simple. If the opera lovers win, rock and rollers would lose and the reverse if rock and rollers won. Conflict would emerge solely because the decision was made in the political arena. The prime feature of political decision-making is that it's a zero-sum game. One person or group's gain is of necessity another person or group's loss. As such political allocation of resources is conflict enhancing while market allocation is conflict reducing. The greater the number of decisions made in the political arena the greater is the potential for conflict. |

the abortion conflict will always be about...legal vs illegal...right vs wrong...there's the camp that says..." I think abortion is wrong , but should be legal "...then there's the camp that says " I think abortion is wrong, and it should be illegal "...I agree with the second camp...but...at the same time...my main objective when my feet hit the floor everyday...is NOT to fight the fight and make abortion illegal...I just kind of wonder why something that we know is wrong should be legal...now...if I wanted to drag religion into this...then I would simply ask..." do you think God thinks abortion is right ? "...this is when the screaming starts...so I try to avoid asking that question...lol |
