I know way too many really beautiful girls who think they don't look good... It hurts... because it's our fault, guys I mean. We make girls feel like they have to be perfect.
You know what I mean, flat stomach, big boobs, round booty, long legs, sexy lips, and on top of all that, they have to dress like a whore, and be one as well... nobody can measure up to that... and its not fair... because nobody should have to.
Girls prefer being called beautiful instead of hot or sexy. The little imperfections are what make people special.
If everyone was perfect the world would be so boring, variety is what makes life interesting. So guys, stop making girls have to live up to your, I'm sorry, our... deluded fantasy visions of perfection.
Stop acting like boys and start being men... realize that women don't exist to fufill our sexual desires. Stop talking to them solely to get with them, be nice to them because you want to be their friend, not because you want to hook up with them.
Say nice things about them not to flatter them in hopes that you'll get some, but because its true and you know they like to hear them.
In short... we need to grow up and stop acting like freakin little boys.

ty Tom for sharing this..so true..i feel i dont have what it takes for a guy to like, but thats me..my sensitivity and i shouldnt..but i have been put down alot and i dont like it at all it hurts..but i am who i am and if a guy doesnt like my body, face, hair or whatever..its his problem, not mine!! god never made anything ugly in my book..everyone is beautiful in theyre own way!! But, i feel everyone is wayyyy to picky on looks these days..i admit physical attraction is important, but beauty is skin deep and noone wants to look at that anymore

I have a friend here in Germany who's husband treats her like a slave.
Expects his dinner to be on the table when he gets home from work.
Doesn't allow her to telephone her friends unless he's there.
Has also locked the phone so she can't use it if he isn't there.

(Doesn't this jerk realize that in this day and age, a telephone may be the difference between life and death in an emergency?)

Checks up on how much something costs before giving her any money to buy it. And only then does he give her the EXACT amount required.
Expects her to do the washing and cleaning as well as taking care of their 10 year old autistic daughter by herself.
Didn't even buy her a birthday card as he regards that as a waste of money.
They haven't slept together for the last four years, and she is physically and mentally exhausted.
She is in the process of secretly trying to find somewhere else for her and her daughter to live.
Unfortunately. She lives about 7 hours away from where I live, so I can only try to keep her sanity intact online.

I talked with her for about 3 hours over the weekend on messenger when he wasn't there, and she is a broken women.
I gave her a few tips on what she could do. (She also lives here in Germany)
One of those tips was putting laxative in his dinner.

I also advised her to go to the social services to ask for help, which she is doing on Thursday.
Hopefully, she will recieve the neccessary help and will be able to get her life on track before Christmas.

I ask all who read this and decide to reply to please post a flower for for a very special woman.

I've been in a relationship like that. Tell her I'll be thinking of her and praying that she can get out of such a horrible relationship

I do get confused myself actually. I know a girl who looks amazing, and she's stalling for ages, afraid to ask this guy out in case he doesnt like her and bla bla bla. I just don't understand the insecurity, but i see it with so many girls.

I think a lot of us have something about us we really dont like, and we assume that everyone else on the planet hates it as much as we do

Ya know, I generally look at Tom's posts just to get a good laugh or to see what joke he has posted cuz generally they are hilarious.. but ya know I have found a new respect for the funny man that is truely amazing... Women who find themselves in desperate situations rarely get there quickly and often agree to it. If and when you get sick and tired of something you make the sacrifices necessary to leave. If that means the clothes on your back with a kid in hand you just do it. There are support systems there and yes they are harsh but what price do you assign for freedom from tyranny you picked?
