I have NO idea what that means...unless he's some kind of biologist..lol Maybe it's "cell" like an art cell and your photo reminded him of a...ummmm...animated character? Somehow that's still not a compliment! |

This is sort of a repeat from another part... If a guys is a self-proclaimed poor communicator and only communicates in spurts...what in the heck does that signify? Interest? Interest only when horny or bored? A serious case of ADD? (and you guys think women are hard to understand!) I'm thinking that he grew up being taught that " real " men don't talk about stuff other than sports. So Thanksgiving wasn't an opportunity to talk about sports? A "hello" might have been nice...geez...WE even talked sports :) and it was GREAT thanks! need a cigarette???) |

Why don't they call "jam" chunky jelly?

How do we know that we see the same color when we call it "red" or "blue" or "green" or any other color? Couldn't the same word apply to a variety of images between people?

How do we know that we see the same color when we call it "red" or "blue" or "green" or any other color? Couldn't the same word apply to a variety of images between people? My ex g/f is a painter. She would always be looking at clouds or something and saying " Ooooo...look at all the blues and pinks in there ". I would look at the same thing and say " Ummmm.....what blues and pinks??? " I think that most of us just go with the predefined terms for what a color is. An artistic eye can see colors that we ( non artistic types ) can't see. |
