The couple guys online that i've actually met in person just can't get past the waitress.
Their "jokes" aren't funny and their "flirting"( i think they think thats what it is) is unkind. I know that waitress is in the back thinking "jerk at table 5" and I'm up front staring at dude in horror. Should I walk out when I start worrying that someones gonna spit in my food or should I take my chances and gracefully escape forever after the meal? |

I am pretty blunt... WHILE the waitress is standing there... look at her & say... hmmm I need a drink what do you recommend... we are on a first date... LOL!!!

^no.. no... i think she means that WHILE she's on the date with a dude from the internet, the dude from the internet hits on the waitress, but the things he says to the waitress in front of his date are rude and rediculus and embarrassing |

I wonder why men sometimes just can't be kind and nice to someone who is just out there trying to make a living....I usually am an overtipper. I used to do the job in my younger years and I know how rough that work is!! Good for you to be aware of this sort of behavior!! |

Set your cell phone alarm to go off 20 minutes into the date, act like it's a real call, if things are going badly, excuse yourself saying "sorry, that call was important and I have to go".

I wouldn't call him out...I would simply look at the waitress and apologize to her...very loudly...."Oh dear, I am so sorry he is being such a jerk to you"...if he wanted attention....I would see that he got it
