Topic: pregnant man pregant again | |
---|---|
Thomas Beatie, the former woman turned transgendered pregnant man who gave birth to a baby girl earlier this year, is once again with child.
The 34-year-old female father is in his first trimester, according to ABC News. In an interview airing Friday, Beatie tells Barbara Walters he did not go back on testosterone after giving birth to biological daughter Susan in June, in hopes of getting pregnant again. It worked. Beatie is due June 12 -- just in time for Father's Day |

Poor kids?
These children are loved and wanted. Plenty of straight people squeeze out multiple children they never wanted or care for. Those are poor children. |

This he/she/it needs to make up his/her/it's mind what he/she/it wants to be..

I personally think its amazing, I think its people who make society question everything theyve "Traditionalized", and teach people 2 open there minds, now that in my mind are what true HEROs are made of.

Hmm how does a woman that now wants to be a man and is still doing what ONLY women can do make him/her/it a hero? Millions of women do it everday and no matter what it wants to be he is still a she!! |

They love each other and wanted children.
The biological woman in the relationship had had a hysterectomy and couldn't carry a baby. They did what they did in order to have a family. I think it's wonderful when ever two people want, create and nurture a child together. ABC has a special on this couple on Friday night I think. |

Is it something only a woman can do? Embryos can be grown in a labratory. What defines a man or a woman? Egg vs sperm production? X vs Y? i personally think it goes deeper tha that. (Moms are some of the most un appreciated HEROs in this country) |

Well you know, a uterus is essential to the process.
This guy still had one. Yes, I agree moms are under appreciated in the world. That's where parental guilt comes in haha |

The couple loves each-other.
The children are loved. I see nothing but love here. ETA: I have 5 beautiful kids and yeah, when ya give birth to a child ya give birth to guilt. Every true mom has it, weather it's justified or not (and weather they're male or female). The moment I stop constantly thinking "am I doing enough?" is the moment I stop being a good mom. |

I was thinking that he was having them too close together.
I wouldn't want to be pregnant that quickly, if I had a choice. |

No not poor kids, Poor person. Beatie is obviously really confused. One of my best friends is transgender, I knew her when she was still Peter (not a joke)Imagine not feeling right in your own skin. Its terrible and sad and frustrating. I have seen how hard it is to be ridiculed and made fun of. To loose jobs and friends for being who you are. I pray Beatie finds his/herself, what ever gender.

Will the children grow up in a normal child hood? I don't think so. They'll have to grow some pretty thick skin to endure the beatings and teasing they'll have to take. That, in itself, is sad.

Mine were all 2 1/2 years apart.
Small breaks between diapers and close enough to be friends. I am so glad they are all adults now. Being a parent is exhausting! |
