Kath,

We lost a fair bit of the beachfront, bigger swells, and more powerful,
also a full moon and big tides.

We saved a nest of turtles, and I am the proud Mumma of 41 baby
hatchlings, as well as 5 still in the nursery.

All in all we were fine, and the Australian coastline will survive for
another pounding.

However the Solomons...oh, sadness, and destruction, and many deaths...


Aid was rushed there immediately, and a rebuilding, and regaining of
heart is happening as we speak.

From what I hear she is the artful princess or the gentle quiet maid ...
depending upon who tells the story.
