Perjury... You don't see people posting about that. You see references to the blue dress, Monica, cigars, affairs...yada yada Personally I think Clinton handled the whole thing wrong. He should have done what Bush has done and simply refused to answer the questions of congress. Lie about a blow job...moral outrage,impeachment proceedings start. Lie about weapons of mass destruction...people pay for that lie with their lives...no moral outrage. What is wrong with people? Simple. You said it yourself. People have to get angry with things they themselves do in others to make themselves feel better about it. Who has a chance to lie about WMDs? Who has a chance to commit adultury? How many people have done the first, or even had the chance to? How many people have at least considered the second? |
