Fiction: Just finished reading my son's "The Magician", sequel to "The Alchemyst". Rather enjoyed those.

Currently reading "Up Country" by Nelson DeMille

Non Fiction: Re-read "A briefer History of Time" by Stephen Hawking. A very entertaining and interesting read.

I read Up Country a while ago. I remember that I liked it and can remember the general plot line but that's about it. I hate that.

I read so much that I often confuse myself. It especially sucks when I end up buying the same book more than once, which I do on a fairly regular basis. ohwell

I especially like DeMille's male lead characters. I see much of myself in them.

I don't have much time to read these days, but I listen to "A Chapter a Day" on Wisconsin Public Radio on the way home from work. The last selection was "A Sound Like Thunder" by Sonny Brewer. This summer they read another of his books "The Poet of Tolstoy Park" it was excellent. I will be looking for more by him when the OT at work slows down. My daughter is an editor literary colomnist & blogger for the Baltimore Sun, if anyone is interested in seeing her blog, it's called Read Street.

I just started reading Eragon; it's already quite a bit different than the movie.

My son has insisted that I read it.. and the sequel, so I guess they are next on my list.

I have finished 4 of the The Meredith Gentry Series by Laurell K. Hamilton. Looking forward to 5 and 6! Then I think that series will be done and I can move on to a new series.
