Yes!!! its finally coming out this month!!! One of the greatest albums of the year!!! i already heard 12 of the 14 songs on it and its awesome!!! Wat do u people think of it??? And yes its is Axl Rose with new musicians but this album is great!!!

Well to me if it has Axl on vocals its Guns N' Roses!!! Look at Megadeth Dave Mustiane is the only member in that band n David Coverdale of Whitesnake is the only member of his band also!!! But its WAY better then VELVET REVOLVER!!!

I disagree with the cuiteful luis....even if one original member part of it...still gnr and I really like it...even more then some of the original bands stuff....Especially Sorry.

This album has been the Duke Nukem Forever of the music industry. You know something is wrong when one of the lead tracks on your new album was leaked eight years ago.

Also, I want my free Dr. Pepper. But yes, I'm sure the CD will be better than anything Velvet Revolver has put out, because good god, that band is trash.

Well ive seen those videos on youtube!! i would do the same if people were throwin stuff at me while im playin! Wat would u do if ur playin on stage n people throw stuff at u??? would u continue playin or just stop n leave!!! Axl did the rite thing to stop the concert! people pay hard earned cash to hear him sing n they do that to him. Its more like him sayin ur payin me to see me sing n ur throwin stuff at me, "so Screw You GUYS Im goin home!!!"

Listen, no one can deny that Rose is an amazing musician. He is a very prolific lyricist, and a great songwriter, but he knows he is that good, and insists on being an asshole about it. The reason he stopped the 2002 tour is because he refused to show up at the Philadelphia showing, and the crowd rightfully called him out on it. You don't just not show up--the opening act tried to quell the audience, but he didn't show up and was nowhere to be found. Soon after, he called the entire tour off. His next tour date was when I was supposed to see him. I vowed from that day on I would never support him for his selfish actions--and I plan on pirating this CD for his smug attitude.

Axl is not famous BECAUSE he is a great musician. It's because fans recognize his talent, and in turn support his endeavors. When he turns his back on that and acts like his production of music is merely a service to those willing to listen, then he loses respect. That is why so many people don't like him

Roger Waters and Yngwie Malmsteen are the exact same way. It must be a talent complex, or something.

Its not Guns and Roses without Slash. It was his guitars and Axl's voice that made the band great. I still like the new stuff coming out tho

Holy crap, I gave this a listen today in full. I can't believe it came out.

I can, however, believe how crappy it is. Pure garbage, this album, Axl should be ashamed of himself. Between the title track, Shackler's Revenge and If The World, it makes Use Your Illusion II look like a rock masterpiece.

I.R.S., Sorry and Madagascar are good. The rest is mediocre filler.

Appetite for Destruction is one of the best rock albums of all time. Everything else after that was kind of weak.

Some of u dont kno real music only like the crap thats out there!!! Chinese Democracy is 1 of the best albums ive heard all year!!! Metallicas new cd is nothin but repeat stuff that takes 10mins per songs n they get annoyin. If u just listen to the new stuff without all the bs sayin this is no GNR record then u dont kno anythin about music at all!!! just put ur negativity on the side n listen to it b4 sayin bad stuff about it!!! n by the way Bumblefoot, Fotus and Fink are better guitar players then Slash!!!

Chinese Democracy may be one of the " best albums of the year " but that's only because of the sorry state that rock music finds itself in right now.

With as crappy as Chinese Democracy really is to anyone who isn't an Axl Rose fanboy, that album will be LUCKY to get more than the first single played on rock radio.

Yep. Traci Guns WAS the original guitarist.

However, the band went NOWHERE until Slash joined up.

Traci went and founded L.A. Guns...that band took off on it's own.

Every band that makes it big has " something " that makes it worth listening to.

For GnR it was the combination of Axl's vocals and Slash's guitar.

For L.A. Gus it was Traci's guitar and Phil Lewis' vocals.

You take any of those four guys, and try to juxtapose their positions in either of those bands, and neither band would have done anything at all.

I don't know, I can't single any one out from GNR. I think Axl is very talented as a songwriter, and Slash is a decent guitarist, despite his sloppy style (which is crucial to the GNR sound). But honestly, it's one of those bands where I think everyone was essential to a point. Axl and Slash complimented each other so well. Izzy's simple chord structures were brilliant. Duff's bass was mean and really added color to the rest of the band. Matt's drumming, while nothing dynamic, was solid.

... and that's the problem with this album. All those things are missing, except for Axl's vocals. You can really hear the Nine Inch Nails in this album, which makes me sick--Robin Finck obviously was given quite a bit of room to work with by Axl, and it shows.

That's what I meant with my last post.

Every band that has made it big, had a certain combination of things that, once a member leaves ( or in GnR's case...the entire freakin band ), the combination is gone and it is never quite the same as it was.

Contrary to popular belief, and much to the chagrin of quite a few singers who wound up with LSD ( Lead Singers Disease ), the vocalist doesn't, in the majority of cases, MAKE the band.
