This evening Firefox is doing strange things to my computer.

The page turns into a fog. Firefox says it has crashed and asks if I want to restart it.

It's happened numerous times.

Has anybody experienced that before?

What do you mean "flags" it?

Do you mean how it draws red lines under the misspelled words?

This is the first problem that I've had with Firefox, btw.

Yeah, I've heard that it's the way to go too.

I did click on some links from here tonight. One was questionable. The post ended up being deleted.

Then this starting happening. Hmmm...

yeah the little red line.
I've heard nothing but good things about firefox
I decided to give it a try when I had to replace my hard drive only a week ago so it's very new to me.
I might be dissuaded by fog, though...seems fishy.

Hmm, when anything questionable starts happening with my PC I will run ad-aware and an anti-virus, sometimes a simple restart works wonders.

If all else fails you can always system restore.

Why, yes it is.

Control Panel-help and support-system restore

There is probably a faster way to get there even.

Update to the most recent version of firefox and if that doesn't help, in firefox, go to tools - options - manage add-ons and disable any you've added recently.

It said:

We're sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed.

We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts.

And I have to click on restart.

I think that the warranty with Best Buy was short. But..I will have it for awhile longer with Dell.

Perhaps you should remove it and use internet explorer to download it again.

I haven't added anything on recently. I just got the computer two months ago. That's when I got Firefox.

I dunno, Ive been using it for quite some time now and enjoy it thoroughly.

Things to eliminate from your computer: anything involving yahoo, anything involving AOL, and I cant prove it but I think MySpace is the Devil and will destroy your computer. Ive never had an account this is just my theory.

Yes, I think I'll do that if I turn it back on tomorrow and it happens again.

I'm just scared that it could be some kind of virus.

I have Trent Security. It seems odd to me that in 2 mths. time, it says that it's never stopped anything.

Firefox is great and much less susceptible to viruses than IE.

I don't have any problems with it and I run it on a PC and a Mac.

I would also suggest uninstalling it and using IE to download it again.
