Try Firefox (safe mode) and see if that works. Start menu - All programs - Mozilla Firefox - Mozilla Firefox (safe mode). If it works in this safe mode, it's definitely an add on causing the problem. Probably a toolbar or an antivirus add on.

Well, it happened again.
It said: Firefox has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Then I can restore it and poof ...back to Mingle. |

It's 2:00 a.m. here. If it works in the safe mode, what do I do with the add on and how do I find it? I mentioned how in my first post Update to the most recent version of firefox and if that doesn't help, in firefox, go to tools - options - manage add-ons and disable any you've added recently.
Hope u get Firefox running right. Tis better than IE IMHO. |

Often when Firefox updates it crashes, but once you restart Firefox it is solved. |

I would use nothing else. Love the spell check. Right click and you can get the correct spelling. Love the speed and the tabs. I have never had any fog. |

Firefox and vista are as of yet not working well together. Often when Firefox updates it crashes, but once you restart Firefox it is solved. They might have done that on purpose because firefox was out doing Window Explorer. I don't have Vista and would not have it installed. I heard in new computers you have to pay extra to get Windows XP rather than Vista. That really sucks. |

Reboot the computer before you try to fix anything.
The issue may resolve itself. |
