I don't think that always works...if someone did that to me, I would get
a little freaked out. UMMM no I wouldn't go out for lunch with that
person...but just walk away slowly...but hey thats me!!!
I am a very shy person, I am very cautious about letting anyone close to
me. Have any of you ever had a stalker before?? I know you probably
think I am being strange...but if you have, you wouldn't let anyone walk
up to you and offer to take you out to lunch and then go.
I wish you good luck flowerforyou

There is no such thing as a standard pitch.

You have to adapt the approach to the suroundings ...

I mean, you are at a Kiss concert in a tux and bow tie, you honestly
think that the cute chick next to you is going to be happy at the Ivy in
a little black number?

Lol @ Duncan*hic* I mean with... So true, man.

I have this subtle technique that tends to go under the radar. I'm
human...
I talk to them (almost like a real person...) and if things work out,
great...if not, no biggie, that's life.

Yeah Jonathan, that technique has some merit .. I have tried that one.

It does tend to give you a small advantage!!

If I ever get out of the cellar, I will try that with human life forms,
and not just the science projects!!!

Being a girl and all...well a woman actually...

A little hint?

(pick your moment)

And try something sensible...."Like hello, so nice to see you"..

It starts with opening your mouth, and using your vocal chrods, and is
no different for a woman to say hello to a man.

So much more rewarding...

Yeah, and you've got to clear the crud out of the chrods...

Yes the talking to me "like a real person" first would probably go
further than the smile and asking me out...I mean Ted Bundy had a nice
smile too!!!!!!!!!

Dunc....You really need to apply for more sunlight!!!!!!!!!

Native ... my priviledges are under scrutiny as we speak ...

We have sunshine here in Europe, and it sort of makes us go goo goo ...

She may actually let me out for a whole morning ...

Be yourself, Nothing is better than when you are yourself. If you can't
get up the nerve to go to someone who's to say they won't come up to
you.

People can sense things without a word many times. When it is time for
the words, they will come.

Generally I smile, and stare, until she smiles back,

or makes the restraining order face.
