If a person is bi racial,then according to the U.S. government,then that person is black.
so if they are white and mexican are they bi racial? that wouldnt make them black They would be Mexican, cause people mixed with white and something else are considered the else in this country.

Apparently white is like vanilla... if anything else is in it, it's not white anymore. Lynann, LOVE it!!!! Bravo! I don't know... The same question can be asked of Tiger Woods, who defines himself as "Cablanasian" in an homage to his multi-ethnicity.
Calling Obama black just helps us spin ourselves to the world media. To me it doesn't matter at all. All I had to do was hear his speech and I'm okay with whatever he is. The man has got some big ole' cajones. And that is exactly what we need. Someone comfy enough in his own skin to be humble on the world stage ... the exact antithesis of what we have now. |

according to the census bureau if you are bi racial your black Why does it not apply for them? They had parents or ancestors who were not only white.  That information is not historically accurate. These were rumors started in the days before television in order to slander a political opponent.

Imo, he's considered our first African-American president because he looks African-American. His looks probably helped too. I doubt he would have been elected if he looked like Mike Tyson. We're a very shallow society and looks count. How else is Sarah Palin explained?
