As a hippie from Michigan. Red Necks are mostly from the south, like country music, real short hair. they don't like us hippies or Rock music. hahaha that was in the 70's. Nowadays rednecks can have long hair

from the inside looking out, I think redneck to be more of an attitude. not racial or bigoted, but a "won't back down" attitude oh and you have to have a rifle rack in your truck

I saw a guy with a mullet the other day.. actually this is a common thing here in Alabama.. and I sooo wanted to tell him to go get a decent haircut... not a halfass one!
