Topic: Power Supply Question | |

So my friend just dropped off her computer to me so I could rid it of the crap she always gets on it (arghhhhh). She forgot to bring the power cord. Are those universal? Both are desktop models....hers is a Dell, Mine is a Gateway. I could google this, but I'm sure someone knows.

My power supply comes from 12 volt deep cycle batteries and an inverter. I charge the batteries with a generator that runs on metane i make in buckets.

Sounds like Ted Kazinski, do you have neighbors that know your making flamable methane in buckets? I think that the hint in that phrase was HE WAS JOKING. Anyway yes those cords are all the same, its your basic three plug design with two narrow and one similar in size but a hair wider. Those cords are actually female and the male part is actually located on the ps which is backwards from common plugs. |
