Okay, so I have a date today. I know the place but not the time. And he hasn't said anything to me in two days! I don't know what's going on. And this is someone outside of mingle. Someone that I know in person. He's not one to cancel a date. Especially not by just not talking. I don't know if something happened to his cell phone or what. Advice on what to do please?

If your date is today and you still don't have a time then you don't have a date. If I hadn't heard anything from the guy I would just assume it wasn't happening. And, if he does call you should tell him you'll have to reschedule as you made other plans after not hearing from him. It's just rude to make someone wait until the day of to firm up plans.

confirmation is necessary.

Well, he's been sick so I've been worried. But the only reason why we had not set a time was because I wasn't sure what time my ride would be up and he wasn't sure when his would either (we don't drive and now both live in different towns)

Weird. I mean, sounds like no date is going to happen. I mean, if he is not one to cancel, then other than alien abduction, their really isn't any excuse to not call you or contact you somehow and sure up plans. Just my thoughts.

Sorry to hear it, but things do come up in life that are unavoidable. I would talk to him before letting yourself draw any conclusions or getting too upset. flowerforyou

I remember, once upon a time, when you were asked out for a date, not only did the fellow tell you what time, but usually it meant he'd show up at your house to pick you up...guess times are different, when did women start settling for soooo much less...?huh

I still like to be picked up for a date...if I know the man. Someone you are meeting for the first time, who you met online should probably not know your address until you're more familiar with them. Safety first. flowerforyou

Well, getting around town via the Jetpack just costs too much these days, and it is still risky to do.

Assume there is no date. He has your number. Go on with your day as usual and if it happens be pleasantly surprized. If not......then you buy a ken doll and dip it in hot wax and then chop off its arms and legs!!!noway laugh laugh noway
