Abstract created a thread asking a question as "Do women really want a
nice guy or are they just saying they want one" Now the question wasn't
exactly that but it caused me to think a little bit...what is a nice
guy?


So ladies, please tell us what your definition of a nice guy is?

to me a nice guy is to be "real", to just be himself and to be
honest..no games and to not be affraid to commit in a relationship!

Amen to that sister sweet!!!! Not a "nice guy" that paints a pretty
picture just to win you over and then things go from great to bad...but
a guy that is real from the get go and remains that way.

Define nice guy?..hmm..something I cant get..thats what a nice guy
is..lol

I'm there with ya Lady...but one day, one of those nice guys will find

alot of the "nice" guys seem to think they finish last..dont quite
understand that..

me neither sweet, but there are a lot of women that feel that way too.

If you want to really listen to the soul of a nice guy, listen to the
song, "she's gonna find me" by the band Melee. It's really
heartbreaking, but in that good kind of joyful way. To answer the
question a nice guy to me, is a man who has his priorities straight.
Obviously no one is perfect so I don't hold that standard high over a
man's head. I know he's out there, I believe he's being prepared - not
just stuck in one place of life or aimlessly wandering. That's the hope
I hold to!

A nice guy does the dishes and I worship him

The guys I meet..they start out nice..then flip for no reason sooo..I
give up..lol

In my opinion, I think the people that believe that nice guys/gals
finish last... There views on being the nice person might be a little
different. That's kind of why I posted this Thread so that everyone who
thought, "Nice guys/gals finish last" they can now understand what
people are really lookin for =D

I agree, most guys finish last. But I’m not changing.
I have been told by allot of people, that I’m the nicest guy they have
ever met. (Tooting my horn here. :) )

But what makes a guy “nice”?
For me I have a set of rules I live by:
Morals – never a one-night stand or friends with benefits
Self respect
Respect for others and their opinions or beliefs.
My core values
Remembering people are like gifts: Pretty wrapping and bows can’t hide
the gift that’s inside. Sometimes you have dig inside to find the real
gift
Self worth
To be a gentleman always.
To chose to be happy.
Kindness
compassion

I do dishes, and cook.

I agree with ya Seanbfresh. But a guy can be nice and have a backbone
as well. I'm not the one to hang out and be treated like *%it or
walked on.
