Hope won last night. It was glorious... I feel rejuvenated in my optimism for this nation. I really do. Seeing Obama take Ohio, that was momentous. Seeing him take Virginia.... wow.

My eyes watered when Obama said his victory speech. My state, Missouri, has been red for 8 yrs. We are now tied at 49%. 1,442,577 - McCain 1,436,724 - Obama So close.

I am thrilled to have voted in Ohio. My vote matters, dammit. This feeling, well... I hope we can keep it going.

Wonder why it is that MY vote didn't count... They made me fill out a provisional ballot (which won't be opened and counted for 10 days)... Said my drivers lic did not match my address... Lived here for 5 years. Go figure... |

Lived here for 5 years. Go figure... Sorry to hear that. I know that has to suck.  There were some problems. A city in St. Louis County had to wait for 7 hrs. to get the machines running.

Lived here for 5 years. Go figure... Sorry to hear that. I know that has to suck. There were some problems. A city in St. Louis County had to wait for 7 hrs. to get the machines running. Makes me suspect something... something I never wanted to have to consider. But just do me a favor... Check those states on the changing map and compare them with ones that had ACORN problems... and there is a correlation that bothers me a lot... To much correlation. Democratic Sec of State, ACORN fraud, lots of strange things happening before the election... Co-ink-e-dink. Perhaps. |

I'm with you on this one lilith. I tend to post without thinking sometimes, but 90% of the time I'm on topic somewhat. I personally believe that since democrats were able to get a good majority of the house and senate that Obama will be able to at least implement some of his proposals. I may not agree with them, but they will provide hope for a lot of people that are in desperate times. I forgot to add that I wasn't even asked for id. |
