(You need to take that hurt and use it to make you better, do good, not use it as an excuse to tear other people down.) Who's tearing anybody down? I just pointed out child abuse. I even said that Floridagurl had nothing to do with it. Just just posted the quotes because she thought they were cute. But they aren't cute. They clearly show that these kids have been brainwashed to beleive things that can be potentially harmful to them. How's that tearing anybody down? I'm hoping to improve the world by pointing out the bad things within it. The things these children were taught are not healthy. WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE? Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough. -- Lynnette, age 8 (isn't she a treasure?) What is abusive about this? |

Very sorry I gave the impression that I thought :all men are macho pigs, ect.
That wasnot my intention at all! And NO I donot think that in the least. I was trying to compare some differences between man and woman, and failed miserably. Will leave it at that..... |

-- Kristen, age 10 Oh no. I genuinely feel for this little girl. I can clearly see that she is steadily being indoctrinated by her parents into acceptance of a position of powerlessness as it relates to her own body and autonomy. She thinks that it will be up to god in some respect to choose who she will "submit" to in matrimony. The fact that she ends her thought with this statment, "you get to find out later who you're stuck with." This leads me to believe that she instinctively has an aversion to this unjustifiable and counter-intuitive mandate. I believe she is dealing with a genuine sense of sadness and loss. She will hopefully be one of those kids that fights it. I have faith.  |
