Who here on mingle, take pride in caring for their men and families?? I'm becoming sad hearing all of the men on here, that aren't taken care of even while in a relationship. Okay, so women's lib was a good thing in some respects...but who hear agrees that the roles of women and men, have lost a lot in this day and age???

I like to roll play.

Sorry....not in a serious mood today.

Depends on what the roles are. From my undertanding, alot of women dont want to be the stay at home mom anymore. No that theres anything wrong with that.

I'm by no means a stay at home mom! I'm a single, working mom! But just because I work does not give me the right to skip out on my responsibilities to my family!!!

Ohhhhhh ok.....I see what you mean now. Some people are just afraid of responsiblity and should be burned at the stake.

Are you telling me there is such a thing as a dead beat mom?

Or did I misunderstand the topic?

I agreee to a point.. it really depends on who you talk to. I know a couple guys who still like the whole domenit male role. My man is like that... I know he will take care of me if needed an I would do the same. but it just depends on who you talk to.

Women's Lib is about a woman being able to CHOOSE what she wants to do with her life. It's not about being a deadbeat anything, nor does she have to pretend to be Wonder Woman by doing it ALL. People who do not take care of the responsibilities they "sign up" for, that's another idea and subject altogether.
If by "taking care of their man" means working full time, taking care of the kids, taking care of the house, chores, errands, and then WAITING on a fit, hale man who wants a mommy-wife, SCREW IT!! Got kids already, thank you very much!!

It depends on what you mean by roles. As long as both parties are getting their needs met than I don't think it really matters who takes out the trash.
