If someone on this site has tried to scam me and I got them to admit it
to me on my yahoo messenger, what should I do now? I blocked them from
here but I don't want them trying to scam anyone else on this site,
either... Is there any way I can help prevent that from happening?

It doesn't matter they will come back under a different name and URL. A
lot of times it can't be helped. You just have to be weary of people in
general.

What do you mean by scammer? Is that just someone lying
about their marital status or did someone try to rip
you off? Just curious.

There are probably a lot of people out there wanting to scam people for
money---you just really have to use your head. I would say if you see
any type of a red flag..block that person!
If someone asks for money, right there is a big red flag!! Also you can
turn that person into yahoo and they can trace their IP and go from
there...so thats an option!

NEVER EVER EVER SEND MONEY if anybody ask you for money it's a
scammer...watch out for them nigerian scammers because they also would
be double agent type scammers working from the UK and they scam people
to buy things and send it to friends in Nigeria so heads up folks they
are all around especially ones without yahoo profiles filled out..

Thanks Chica.

I posted a message for people to watch out if you have IM. Also too
there is a Pay Pal e-mail scam going around. It asks you to call a
certain number and they will ask you for an account number or your
social security number.

Also watch out for dem PayPal Spoofer link emails (for those that have
paypal) those thangs lead to the actual scammers/programmers getting
into your account threw those links they send pretending to be paypal
themselves but it's not...these asswipes have no balls and should be
thrown in the slammer..
