Why would he want his children to suffer? If he is all powerful why wouldn't he make us all pleasant and agreeable and then give us $150,000 to spend on clothes?

I am a father. I would never wish my children to suffer.
Will they suffer in their lifetime? I know they will.
This is pain to a parent. Can I prevent their suffering?
No. Can I mitigate it? Yes, whenever I can.

All pleasantness and agreement? That would be a banquet of
bland useless vacuous nothingness. Futile and worthless as
clothing and other materialistic things.

What makes you think God wants anyone to suffer?

And why do you think he's a Father?

Have you ever seen a man give birth?

I believe God is both Mother and Father.

What do you think happened to Mrs. God?

Do you think she died during childbirth? huh

mother and father really are irrelevant terms
in speaking of God. God has no sex - it is only
a convention of language. it makes no difference
at all how we refer to God. The antipathy is
pointless...

I disagree. tongue2

Especially for me personally. I need for God to be whole. And because I'm a human I personally prefer to think of God in humanistic terms. Because this is all I can know and have direct experience with.

Therefore I personally find it helpful to appeal to the feminine side of God or the masculine side of God as required to facilitate a deeply emotional communiqué.

This may not be necessary for eveyone, but for me personally, I find it deeply fufilling.

To view God continually as a single gender (especially a male who has male-chaunvinistic tendencies in the religious doctrine) is extremely unfullfilling for me and devoid of the essence of the spirit of humanity with which I find fruitful.

Therefore I perfer to view God as both the feminine and masculine nature of the universe.

Your millage may vary.

And your car may run out of gas.

And you might even get a flat tire.

Lots of things are possible.

Watchout for those potholes too!

Honestly I dont approve of the concept of a boy god that creates or "gives birth" I find that entire premise to be absurd. The whole Father/Lord thing just irritates me. It has this bizarre psycho sexual BDSM Dominant/submissive flavor to it.

Aside from that, Christianity is just weird. huh

Of course God loves my inimitability. It's one of the greatest gifts that She has bestowed upon me. She stole it from the Horned God and handed it to me straightaway.

This is why we need two Gods. In case of them is standing around half-naked holding an unplayed instrument in His slow hands trying to figure out what to do next She can act swiftly and keep the universe flowing with creative energy.

By the way, are you ever going to play that guitar for us or are you just going to stand there and hold it?
