Tha f@g is talented for sure...just don't do landscapes anymore personally but, I don't care what a flaming butt pirate he may be. I can't insult or question his talent. (Kind of works out the same with Elton John)

Yeah, I guess you can be talented and be a complete loser! His artistry isn't all that bad, but he personally sucks! I never really did landscapes to begin with, but I imagine it might be more difficult than it seems

I am a bigger fan of Dali's drawing that his paintings ... line that goes on forever ... love

Kokoschka and Kirchner...most of the German Expressionists really...

and Kline
Cezanne
Richter
Brancusi
Boccioni
Duchamp
Arp
Katy Oe

...and a Canadian photographer ... it is killing me that I can't remember his name at the moment ... his show was the most profound and haunting experience I have ever had in a gallery...

... ohhhhhhh don't get me started ... my list is endless ... laugh

Who is your favorite artist/s?flowerforyou Mine are Dali and Michael Parks
M.C.Escher after I looked at his work at the library. My work was compared to him and Dali. Dali, I guess, was an influence as far as realism, surrealism, now Escher...

For all U Bob Ross love-to hate fans, he died a year or so ago and has joined his happy little critters, next to a little babbling brook, by a happy little bush,or maybe two..whatever you'd like, coz remember, it's you're picture and you can make it anything you want to be, yessir.

Hey, doesn't the value of an artist's work increase once they're dead? think

Personally, I prefer the Pre-Raphaelites (saw a good showing of selected works in St. Louis, on loan from an East Coast Gallery, and in turn from the Tate in London, England.
