I think food is not a big deal when saying you dislike something. Even the Iron Chefs are open to opinion. I would say something like, "I appreciate the meal, but I'm not eating this slop."

Oh wait..........where IS the dog? Could it be....? Aw...poor Fluffy! nahhhhh Ok, seriously I have and will be honest and tell the person if the meal is not up to par. I simply say that I'm not enjoying the meal, my taste is for something else (which of course is code for something besides this shyt) while taking a long sip of wine to mask the taste of whatever inedible thing I've had the misfortune of tasting. |
