The cold wind is blowing sending
a chill down my back reminds me
of natures destiny as the sun
moves away.

But yet i find beauty as the
leaves die away and the days
are getting shorter and the
frost is creeping in.

The bucks have shed their velvet
necks and chest swelling for their
games otters just keep on playing
as though nothing has changed

Frogs and turtles have burried
deep beneath the ground sleeping
for the winter not knowing the
changes all around.

Squirrel's are staying busy
although the cold has slowed
them down feasting on the acorns
underneath the frozen ground.

The geese are honking loudly eating
corn from harvested fields the fox
is hunting hedgerows for what ever
they may yield.

The bay is churning violently from
natures northern winds while the
fish are schooled together and
keeping warm within.

Although the winter paints a
picture thats cold, black, and
grey. nature shows her beauty
in each and every way.
