No, Lex, not disconcerting. He is 26 or 27 (he had a birthday I think), and obviously assumes I will become some sort of booty call for him. I have to laugh at that... really. C'mon, you do see the humor? Honestly, I'm completely unable to see the humor in someone getting so inebriated that they can't function. Unless they get run over by a bus, in which case it's hysterical. I'm assuming that didn't happen here, though. But on the positive side I met a guy with a degree in latin and ancient greek and his favorite christmas gift from his mother was an etymology book. He used lots of words you often post, which of course tickled my fancy. We are having dinner tonight.  I can only hope he's better than the last few....! Really, you deserve someone so much better than what you've been running into lately....!

Why don't you take me out, then ignore me, then get drunk, regret you blew me off, and drunk text me about sex at 2am. What I should have said was, well, I'm not alone, but come over and join us? (I was alone, by the way. But saying I wasn't would've been wicked) |
