I am thinking of getting the black rose as a tattoo why? what does it mean to you? Quiet beauty, peacefulness

Interesting. That's what I get from it to. Black is a very peaceful color.

Where would you find one? I guess not in a regular flower shop. The two "black" roses are "Black Magic" and "Ruby Celebration". They are a really dark red as there is no truly black rose yet.

No, Lex, not disconcerting. He is 26 or 27 (he had a birthday I think), and obviously assumes I will become some sort of booty call for him. I have to laugh at that... really. C'mon, you do see the humor? But on the positive side I met a guy with a degree in latin and ancient greek and his favorite christmas gift from his mother was an etymology book. He used lots of words you often post, which of course tickled my fancy. We are having dinner tonight.
