Topic: SO WHAT THE HELL IS MY POINT? | |

(Mark 8:11-12; Luke 11:29-32)
Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Jesus, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.” But he replied to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign. Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah, because just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea creature for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. The Return of the Unclean Spirit (Luke 11:24-26) “Whenever an unclean spirit goes out of a person, it wanders through waterless places looking for a place to rest but finds none. Then it says, ‘I will go back to my home that I left.’ When it arrives, it finds it empty, swept clean, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and settle there. And so the final condition of that person becomes worse than the first. That's just what will happen to this evil generation!” (Luke 6:43-45) “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree rotten and its fruit Rotten, because a tree is known by its fruit. You children of serpents! How can you say anything good when you are evil? The mouth speaks about what overflows from the heart. A good person brings good things out of a good treasure house, and an evil person brings evil things out of an evil treasure house. I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give an account for every thoughtless word they have uttered, because by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned. |

Tell, me your point then

12:33-37 Men's language discovers what country they are of, likewise what manner of spirit they are of.
The heart is the fountain, words are the streams. A troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring, must send forth muddy and unpleasant streams. Nothing but the salt of grace, cast into the spring, will heal the waters, season the speech, and purify the corrupt communication. An evil man has an evil treasure in his heart, and out of it brings forth evil things. Lusts and corruptions, dwelling and reigning in the heart, are an evil treasure, out of which the sinner brings forth bad words and actions, to dishonour God, and himself and hurt others. Keep constant watch over ourselves, our tongues, our actions towards others that we may walk repsecting all things and speak words agreeable to the character of Christ. |

I think his point is that he's suffering from paranoia.
Relax dewdrew. Have a little faith that things will turn out ok. Things aren't as bad as you've been led to believe. |

1 Timothy 6:20-21
O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called "knowledge"— ... which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith. Grace be with you. |

1 Timothy 6:20-21 O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called "knowledge"— ... which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith. Grace be with you. Timothy always cracks me up. If we avoided "empty chatter, and paid no heed to endless genealogies and fables," we would rightfully disregard about 92% of the bible. |

SO WHAT THE HELL IS MY POINT?
I'm still waiting. Come down from your podium and reveal your true person. Put down your Bible and speak your mind. Be real so that we can know who you are. Anyone can spout scripture and we have heard it all before. JB |

Awwww but sweet people why put it in our own words when the Bible says it so clear..... Bravo Bravo....... and if you could see me right now standing ovation for drew.....Im Debbie by the way....nice to meet ya and read your posts... Because as I said before, anyone can quote scripture. I seek the real person and the one who THINKS. I have a tape player at home and the bible on tape I can play any time, and there are various versions of the Bible on the Internet to read, and three Bibles in my book shelf. What I don't know is what you think and why. Engage me on that level and you will have my respect. jb |

Grace be with you. Wow dude... I believe I have seen you elsewhere. You quote that which warns you to avoid quoting... And in so quoting you heed not the warning... Placeing what was entrusted to you into the same catagory as empty chatter and false 'knowledge'. When ALL faith is place in a manmade falseness and the wafting of spirit is ignored empty words become 'god' to those that breath not. |

Your point?
You have nothing to say for yourself, as clearly seen here. |
|
|
|
Drew I would prefer to hear from YOU directly and your thoughts and feelings without the hindrance of scripture. That tells me absolutely nothing about who you are as a person. I can not address directly what I am unable to see. I often discuss/debate the individual interpretations of bible passages however that demands that you think and communicate on your own two feet.
|
|
|
|
quoting and quoting the Holy Scripture without giving an interpretation as to what the individual wants to say with those quotations is empty.
