Sleep Drowned out by the Sun Eyes closed Tight In protest Mind holding Images Of the night’s vision While fingers Trace Lines of an invisible form Asleep Feels More awake With day Seeming Incomplete And I Wonder Do you feel it too? Time Makes No sense Sometimes Speeding Too fast to catch a glimpse At others Crawling Too slow to make a difference And I Wonder Do you feel it too? There is something Strange About being alive Moments of Invisible Even to myself Time blocks of Clarity Within the formless Where perhaps the Seeing Is clearer still Too big for Life Contained in this body Yet too small to Venture Beyond it It is an odd Sensation To feel squished by your own design And I Wonder Why it is That I wonder Such things ….
