Speaking as a writer -- AND as someone who has actually read three (count 'em, three) Danielle Steel books -- let me just say I find the genre to be a bit stultifying -- it's hard for me to write in that style without making it into a parody of something that already seems very much like a parody to begin with! Okay folks, tell me how you temper those feelings of reckless abandon when you meet someone, or do you want to? Do you ever even experience this? I recently felt honest reckless abandon for the first time...in ages (or maybe EVER if I'm honest!) You tell me! How DO you temper those feelings??? |
