Nope. I've tried them many ways, but can't stand them. I loathe the country gravy over biscuits thing too.
 I once saw my grandfather (from Virginia), make gravy with grease he'd fried chicken in. I think I ran to the bathroom at that moment to expel everything in my GI tract....
But I'm a yankee, so all this should not be so shocking. Now give me a raw oyster or quahog.... yum yum yum. |

I hate grit's. They're like Cream of Wheat that won't cook. Yuck!

Make them in a bread pan refrigerate them then slice into pattys and frie them serve with butter and syrup , sooooo good !
