Physical ability doesn't mean so much does it?

FDR was a damned good president but he hid his physical disabilities from the public.

Stephen Hawking cannot speak without aids. No one can dispute his genius.

I am more concern with what the candidates had to say than their appearance. Yes, the likelihood of McCain dying in office because of his age is a factor but...

Listen...really listen to what he said tonight and to the dodges, to what he didn't say.

Agreed.

But you've been in those situations where someone's personality can make them more or less attractive, right?

McCain is one ugly mofo.

My 70 year old father said tonight, "I hate to say this, but McCain reminds me of a creepy old man." Mom said he's creepy too.

I do know that the more that I see of Obama, the more that I like him.

What is interesting is that when the country was crippled we elected a leader who was physically challenged. For he had the Will Power to lead us and the determinination to see things through. What we need now is a President with a Vision. Sorry do not believe McCain has such an ability. His choice VP shows he cannot see things for what they are.

Though "Maverick" has taken on a whole new meaning. rofl

I could not help thinking that McCain reminded me of a troll or something while I watched him move. I am not superficial at all but my mind kept thinking that. He is in really bad shape physically because he moved stiff and crooked.

Okay, I couldn't help it.

To me, this was the most horrible pathetic "debate" I've ever seen, it was just uninformative and petty.

2004, the WWE hosted a debate between Mick Foley and Bradshaw to promote their smackdown your vote campaign, the WRESTLERS talked about issues more than these two.

I found it educational to watch their personalities and demeanor.

I could see entertaining...but educational?? You may have meant entertaining, if not i would question how acting skills have anything to do with policies and/or future plans for the sheeple of america...

It was also education in that Obama has a better sense of the Presidential role in foreign policy than McCain. McCain seems to be stuck in the role of Commander in Chief. Kept referring TR's comment and a "big stick". Foreign policy has changed since the "Age of Expansion". McCain is about 100 years out of step. slaphead

flowerforyou For starters not many people are "at home" on stage. Secondly, doesn't anyone focus on their policies anymore? Or am I one of a VERY few?

Obama's a bit more extreme than McCain, believe it or not. He's more aggressive when it comes to nation building and spending large amounts of money we simply do not have. The one good thing i think that will come from his rule is that hopefully people would be pushed into revolution. When the downward spirals occur too quickly people become wise to it. Just look at Bush. Hopefully Obama's followers will actually start paying attention to him after he gets elected.
