Tarnish naw not at all at times we must do what we must do. Have been there done that and did what was needed. Besides I rather enjoyed the rhymes At times we must remind our selves it is best to find out that one is not what we expected early on and get past it and not let them bring us down with them. We live and learn from what we do not what others do. All we can do is be ourselves and treat others the way we would want to be treated. why is it that we run and hide from what we really feel inside? what we need to do is be honest and true!

Welcome back, Woody. People have power here by being consistently themselves. The logical result is that the atmosphere is determined by those who provide the most input, and are consistently active. How else could it be?

I'm real and genuine and a REAL christian which scares off most guys...but oh well no one will ever come between me and Jesus! Good for you, most guys that get scared by that aren't genuine to begin with... Thanks :)

Ohhhhhhh now that is a loaded question. Why do we do a lot of things that we do who knows could it be from some are scared of rejection. So at times they must portray to be someone they are not? Are we scared of what the results would be if we let our feelings out to another? So many questions and not enough answers for sure. To many times some have let there feelings show to have them shot down. Sad but true then it makes the think twice before doing it again. One finally gets burned so many times they feel what is the need. Then when the genuine one does come along they miss the chance due to the past. At times it is a never ending circle in life should we or should we not. As they say at times we are damned if we do and damned if we don't.

In the past, there were so many good times to be had here. I know how busy we all get in the summer, but I cannot explain or understand what is the reason for it being so dull and drab. I have no idea what you're talking about! "Dull"...? "Drab"...? One thing I have noticed (which is quite ironic in my non-humble opinion) is that sites that are for the over-18 crowd ONLY end up being very boring because you can't cuss. On a site that's for 13 and up--lots of cussing. On a site that's for 18 and older: No cussing allowed. That seems strange to me, but not "dull", since it's not endemic to the site, but to the internet in general. Anyway, who would want for you to explain or understand the reason for a site being "dull" or "drab"..? (Not me!) I have talked with some that turn out to be all together "STRANGE" after getting to know them. Are you that guy who IMed me this morning and accused me of being a hypocrite because I have a boyfriend, and yet still belong to an internet social site..? COME ON NOW!! CONFESS! (If it was you, no big deal. I do stuff like that myself every so often!) And I have met some who are true and genuine. The hard part for me is figuring out who is a player and just here to mess with other's feelings and emotions. To the point of absolute distrust. Sad but true. This is just my humble opinion. It's been my experience that the words "true" and "genuine" are very much abused--usually by those in sales. But what are ya gonna do...? I mean, you know: The Apocalypse, right? What I find rather intriguing and most humorous is often times we post about the exact same thing that occurs in REAL life and solicit advice/opinions/feedback. Certainly, the internet has provided a different venue for scammers to be scammers, yet these scammers were and are alive and kicking in real life, long before we all paid a "fee" to experience them here, right? Don't we read, post, share and engage about "real life" experiences where we perceive we were burned, wronged on some level left whimpering in the corner, licking our wounds from hurt feelings? I've been "done wrong" on the internet, like most here have. I've also had the same experiences, if not worse, occur in real life. I've simply learned over time how to armour myself against it or them, if you will. While I do everything I possibly can to guard myself against the wrong-doers, I will not allow them to control my life to point of distrusting EVERYONE on the internet. I simply pick and choose accordingly and carefully who I think should be "file 13'd".

All we can do is be who we are and honest with ourselves. At least in the end we know where we stand.
