My co-worker got implants. 38 DD Yeah big ones. Now she is not a skinny little thing, but for me, too big.
She says the guys hit on her because of her boobs.
DUH????
She is smart, funny, lots of great qualities but all the guys see are her boobs.

Be prepared for PAIN, and going back for more surgery.

Unless this is for reconsturction, wait a couple of years.
Natural, even if small are better. As time passes they sag less. My ex is 55 and still has nice boobs.

lol thats my natural size - guess i'm lucky i didn't have to pay

Well I'm just curious, you said augmentation and everyone sort of jumped on the oh you're getting implants. Which may not be what you were asking for?

Whatever you do, make sure you do it for yourself and for the right reasons. Having bigger boobs isn't going to bring you happiness from men. And if you're actually looking at downsizing or corrective surgery, again it's about what feels right for you.

It's a big decision both financially because upsizing doesn't last forever you will need to get them fixed about every 10-15 years. And emotionally and physcially, my sister had her's done, and you can pretty much count on being incompacitated for a few days depending on the size up you're going. The soreness, aches, not being able to lift your arms and need help with the little thing while you heal.

Talk it over with people you trust

Why cant you just be happy with what God has given you? Mine are small, but very sensitive & I wouldnt want them to be any bigger--noway (More than a mouthful.... is a waste)!! and
at least when Im OLDER they wont be hanging down to my stomach!

My neice had hers reduced a few months ago. Her Dr told her she needed it done or she would have problems when she got older. She was uncomfortable for the first few days, then just sore. When I took her shopping for her first new bra and she got it off the clearence rack she was thrilled. Don't know anyone who had gotten them larger but I'm sure it would be uncomfortable with first then just sore. About like any other surgery.

i have not had it but i am familiar with it.

there are a couple of excellent books you can read
about breast augmentation. personally i don't care
about breast size so i think it totally a personal
choice. a little more than hair color change, but not
unlike rhinoplasty or varicose vein treatments.

it is a factor to consider in the diagnosis of breast
tumors. having implants in the breast can make it more
difficult to find, image and monitor tumors. also,
there can be complications - thus the books.

Robert M. Freund's book is good.

I was thinking about getting the surgery. Have any of you had it? If so, was there a lot of discomfort?

a woman died due to complications from the anesteghia (sorry spelling), it was in the news here last week,...always dangers involved...

Any plastic surgery unless for medical or extreme cases should not be allowed, be happy with who you are and if someone really wants to change their body there are natural ways to reshape and improve your body. Me I like myself with all my bumps and curves in the wrong places, lack of or to much of....

I would not date a girl with fake breasts. They look weird when a girl is laying down and the gap between her breasts is usually bigger.I remember last year they did a special on tv with women who had silicone under their breasts. After 10 years a deadly black mold had grown inside the silicone and the doctor said if they would have broken open they surely would have killed her.
