Topic: Lamest Record Of All Time? | |

In YOUR opinion, what is the lamest record of all time?
For ME, it's: "Ring My Bell" by Anita Ward (I think everything about it just plain sucks!) |

Disco Duck another one bites the dust I agree there, too - and those songs came out right around the time "Ring My Bell" did, when I was in my late teens. "Another One Bites The Dust" bites the bag..... and "Disco Duck" really does suck..... I still think "Ring My Bell" is the worst of the crop, though.... |

another one bites the dust "Another One Bites The Dust" bites the bag..... Ooohhhh I dunno, I think I have to step in and defend this one. Not their best track by a long shot, but it hardly deserves to be counted among these atrocities. |

Well, Pete, we ARE talking opinions here....I loathed the song when it came out, and I still do, but the point is that I knew going into posting this thread that someone might feel that MY favorite song is the lamest record of all time. It's all subjective. And I appreciate your opinion. |

I know, it's no biggie. Just giving my opinion too.

My nomination for "lamest record" is-
Metallica- Death Magnetic Just saw a music video from one of the songs on the album and I gotta say that "weak" doesn't BEGIN to describe how far Metallica's fallen. MY grandma can come up with heavier tunes than them. |

"Sausalito Summer Night" by Diesel (1981)
Not AS bad as "Ring My Bell", in my opinion, but I think it was a very lame recording of a very stupid song. |

Yeah, Metallica has become too commercial to be real metal anymore, I think......besides, they don't even have day jobs like real metal musicians do. |

Still love the old stuff though |

A song from 1975 called "Wildfire" by Michael Murphey. That songs makes me cringe just thinking about it!
I must admit, I liked "Ring My Bell" when it came out, and I still do. As far as Metallica... I was listening to their St Anger album last week on my ipod and ended up deleting several songs. They were truly horrible. They have some great songs, but none of 'em are on that album. |

"Midnight at the Oasis" makes me want to get a job at the post office just so I can.......

"Bad Blood" by Neil Sedaka was one of my worst barf-inducers before "Ring My Bell" came out.
