As I cup my hair up in a bun
letting the shower, hit the back of my neck
tricklin down my spine, the aches and pain
washes down the drain,
I'll start a new day,
standing here smilin as I think
of all the days when my heart did sink

I broke free of it, somehow
toweling off, I set some plans
today I'll travel happily on this land
filling my soul with memories of love
from my friends, my daughter, and grandbabies

Breathing more easily now,

resting and to play

As my breath escapes my lungs

I'm livin proof, and man I've had my share of pain and heartbreak, but for some reason some light went off, I feel different, see things different, all I got to say is WOW, what an eye opener!

Omg, as I was reading I was thinking what and AWESOME write. I could see you standing there washing away all the pain and finding yourself. Then as I approached towards the bottom I had the biggest smile come across my face as I was reminded of the day I heard that song on the radio. Coming home from work can rememer right where I was and the first name that came to me was the one and only it was meant for. At the time you were going through some hardship as soon as I got home I googled it and sent it to you. Funny part is Jewel is not one I listen to but they played it on the country radio station I listen to that day. I actually took the time and listend to the words and the meaning. I had figured you had forgotten all about that one by now.

Well you just made my day to know that it touched your heart enough to remember it. Thank you girl for being the person you have become. May your days always shine bright and look towards the stars at night for that comfort you seek.
