to grow my hair longer...do you guys think older women looker older in long hair?

Depends on how long you let it get. In general I do think that long hair makes women look longer - not ALL women though :-) Most important is if you like it and you're happy with the way you look.

In general, I think older women look younger in a cute sassy short cut, but there are some women who can pull off the long hair look quite well.

I think age makes one look older. And i believe women are sexier, not to offend anyone, with long hair. MHO

I for one think I look younger with long hair It depends on the shape of your face actually, if you have a short round face, long hair will make your face appear longer. If you have a long face to begin with it can make you appear older. you look cute with it short though!!

Grow it!!!!!!!!!! Just my humble opinion. HAir length should coincide with bone structure. Shorter, "Plush" bone structure dictates that the hair should be short. Otherwize you will look like a butch Annie Lennox. Thin or long bone structure begs for longer hair length for a feminine grace to the neck and jaw line for ladies. Or the "John Lennon" effect for me....I get that crap all the time.

How old longer hair makes you look is almost totally dependent on the style it's cut in. My ex ( who is now 50 ) liked her hair long, but I kept telling her it needed a different style because she looked older. She got it cut and she looked a lot younger. :-)

Good luck and my best advice...keep it STYLED and TRIMMED into a great shape while you are growing it out...I had my "hairapy" appt today and feel much better! There are mid-length styles that are terrific on older women. You find what works for you and you'll be fine!

I had really long hair. I got so much cr-p about cutting I finnally caved and cut it. So not happy that I did.
