Actually, that's the kind of swinging I thought you were talking about. Love it, went just three weeks ago. I even had the nerve when I was a kid to take a swing over the top. Got banned from the playground for a week.

Awww swingsets.... That's where one of my ex's proposed to me... He was pushing me then he ran underneath the swing while I was in the air and when I came back down he had the ring right there for me to see......

they called that pumping when I was young, one person would sit the other stand and pump to make the swing go higher I never participated

I prefer the slide -- a perfect allegory for my life -- start out at the top and end up with my ass in the mud. Ouch.

Aww my kids swing set frame was made of wood so when they out grew it I took there swings off and put the sit down full bench on it so now I can sit out under the trees and swing back and forth. Nothing better then to sit in it with my grand daughter and swing back and forth.

Love the swings, and the hammock. I have a picture, that was turned into a "painting" kind of thing of me and my daughter at about age 2-3 in a hammock. Birds singing in the trees Bees buzzin' in the leaves. A litlle sing-song I made up for when we sat in it.
