Is it wierd that I have never received them? My roomy is just floored. I dunno. She is making a big deal of it. Her boyfriend sent her a dozen yellow roses...and I thought it was beautiful but she was like he does this all the time. I still think that is a big deal. She thinks it is sooo crazy...what do you think?

I have received flowers before but not from a guy.

I do think it's a big deal and hopefully someday a guy will think I'm a big enough deal to send them to me.

I agree, if you are the type to enjoy it and especially have not had it done for you ever or a lot, it's a very big deal.

Last time I had flowers delivered to my job was back in March. Twenty roses at 7 am when I started, another six at 10 am, and was called down for another delivery at 12:30......but that wasn't flowers.......it was TheCaptain, he was supposed to be in Idaho (not NY) for one more day.

He was the delivery man but wanted to surprise me, and that he did. Then he proposed and floored me completely!blushing

<----- flowers delivered to me on tuesday.smitten

If you get them from the right man they are the most wonderful thing, if they come from the wrong ones, or for the wrong reasons, they go in the trash.

I have only gotten flowers three times - once because I started a new job and my now ex hubby was "marking his territory". The two other times were when he beat the hell out of me and I moved out. He sent them to my work, one batch from himself and one batch from our son.

My ex used to send flowers to me for Valentines Day but only at work. I asked him why one time and he basically said he did it so the other girls in my office would think he was a really nice guy. indifferent

I love Flowers, and i love too send them. Every woman, plus my Mother loves too get them. My youngest Daughter is only 13, and she always acts suprised, and happy when i send them.
When you get them from someone that you admirer, and have a Bond with it will be special. Your roomy would miss them if she didnt get them.flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers

Is it weird that I SEND flowers all the time, even to guys?

One of my best guy friends turned 30 last year and I sent him flowers at work. He said he never felt so PIMP in his life!
When asked be explained they were from good friend but people still looked at him like he was the man rofl

I have gotten flowers, and I'm sure you will one day, too. Sorry that your room mate doesn't see the gesture as 'a big deal'. It is a very sweet, beautiful present to receive. What a shame that there are those who don't see it that wayohwell .

If the flowers are free, or if he grew them, then go ahead and enjoy the flowers.

If he bought flowers? Pffffffffffft.
He could sent you a bunch of spices in a nice rack, with an eye towards daily happiness in the long view, and to give the hope of years to come.
