Topic: Proximity to Russia is foreign policy experience. | |

Excerpt: 'When Couric asked how Alaska's closeness to Russia enhanced her foreign policy experience, Palin said, "Well, it certainly does because our ... our next-door neighbors are foreign countries." Alaska shares a border with Canada.' Did this woman just fall out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down? |

Change: Well, I compare it to some businesses. When they hit a point that what they are doing no longer works, and they need change and new blood, they DON'T go looking for established people. It isn't unusual to go after someone new to that business or industry. An outsider who hasn't been indoctrinated and become entrenched in the way things have always been done. Because sometimes, these is such an intense need for change, any change at all, that the exact nature of the change is less important than breaking the ties with the old, failed, way of doing things. Personally, I think the country has hit that level. Sometimes, things are so outdated and wallowing in its own failure, that even change that doesn't work perfectly is better than they way things have been going. That's 'part' of the reason I'm voting Obama. McCain is just another outdated, old-school, individual that is still clinging onto failed methods. |

Does going to the Persian Gulf twice, Guantanamo Bay, France, Kenya, Pakistan and living a year in Spain count as foreign policy experience? All Sarah Palin has done is live close to Russia. |

Oh, she's likeable. Runner up to Miss Alaska, somebody must have liked her. A lot of mentally challenged adults are likable. But what makes her qualified to run the country if McCain kicked the bucket? |

Because he's black? Is that the only thing that you see when you look at him? I don't see his color when he talks. I want to hear what he has to say. |

do you have ANY idea how amny people voted for him because hes black? i dont care that he is, but it shouldnt be a reason to vote for him! lol. i personally know 4 college kids who voted for him just to look progressive and sit around and tell the black guys they voted for him. its reverse racism.

Well, shame on them when everybody else is taking this election seriously. People should be taking it seriously. Bush made a mess out of our country and it critically needs help. |

I never thought I'd see the day when the race card would be played by rich, privileged, white Republicans. They attack a black Presidential candidate, not directly, but by attacking his preacher. What will it be tommorrow? They are getting very desperate. |
