Ever heard of the Harvard Law Review?

No one had to get him into school. He did it himself.

He was the President of The Harvard Law Review. That is extremely impressive. If you don't think so look into it.

Well, I can understand some posters thinking Obama has said nothing. After all, if you are getting most of your news from FOX then that's what you would think.

Obama has said a good deal. Of course for anyone to know that they would actually have to tune in and seek out multiple news sources and OMG they would have to read!

Yes, I said it! Shocking isn't it? That you would have to visit Obama's site and actually read his plan!

I am sure most Obama haters won't do that. The reading might be too time consuming and thought provoking. We all know how disturbing thought is to some.

NO, they cannot read intelligence, they would rather read the hate emails claiming he is muslim and not an American citizen, etc.. That is more along their line of thinking.

I already said this and I will say it again, the only reason McCain can win this is because his opponent is black and the racists in this country will have none of it.

McCain is a frail, mentally mushy, PSTD having, economically prejudice and unqualified individual who brings absolutely nothing to the table for president and picked a less qualified running mate. So again who would vote for that unless they were racists?

How ridiculous...comparing the repu vp candidate to the dem pres candidate...hilarious. Just goes to show that the dems figure their candidate compares favorably only to the second in the repub ticket. And a fair comparison, I would say. Lets compare the vp's head to head....Palin has never been to Washington except to "visit." Biden has been there since before the B.C/A.C. conversion couple thousand years ago. Biden is so wise that he even admitted he was a lousy choice for dem vp. That certainly gives me a lot of confidence in himlaugh laugh laugh laugh And Obama's foreign policy experience? Well, he did serve as a community organizer, and the Europeans love him and want him to be "THEIR" president. My opinion is...I don't want a "talker" who is loved over the world in the White House, I would rather have someone who is an "action" person who makes the other world leaders worry a bit about what he is going to do. Obama talks well, better than anyone since Reagan, but, after you wade through his words, you find no substance in them, just a bunch of words strung together in a nice, palatable manner. If you think running the US is just a matter of giving nice speaches, then vote Dem, and if you think either set of candidates is experienced enough or prepared for the job, you are sadly deceiving yourself. No one is prepared for that job until they get it for a while.

Does that mean that you don't know where he stands on issues?

Have you visited his website? It's all there.

Yup...been to his website and read it closely...And I have listened to all his sound bites on tv...and read the pdf's of his speeches. They do not compute. Is the guy running on what his campaign writes, or what he says? I don't see any writing on his site referring to or explaing why he believes poor and rural ppl cling to religon and guns because the gov't has failed them. I did hear a speech in which he said he had not heard all the sermons his minister had given displaying his racism, duhhh...he went to that church for twenty years, was he sleeping during the sermon? Or was he just flat out lying? He talks about windfall profits by the oil companies, how they are screwing the public...once again...duhhhhh...oil is sold on the open market basically in an auction type system. He does not even understand anything about economy except he has enough dollars to buy anything he wants at the store...and stores are the limit of his experience. I suggest that everyone read his website, then compare to his speech pdf's. See how different they are. Just google Obama pdf's and read them yourself.flowerforyou

We don't have to compare Obama to McCain.

McCain's record, his shifts, his corruption, his lack of insight, his false flag waving....to hell with it I don't have to go on...you won't listen to facts.

The reason people compare Palin and Obama is because McCain attempted to make Obama appear unqualified due to lack of experience then picks a person to stand in the shadow of the presidency who is less qualified than Obama.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26884523/page/2/

Excerpt:

'When Couric asked how Alaska's closeness to Russia enhanced
her foreign policy experience, Palin said, "Well, it
certainly does because our ... our next-door neighbors are
foreign countries." Alaska shares a border with Canada.'

Did this woman just fall out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down?

laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

lets see canada is bordered by a foreign country on all sides

if you want info on a volcano ya gonna ask the person that lives by the volcano or the person that lives a thousand miles away from it

alsaka has to deal with protecting their waters from direct Russian intrusion into alaska's waters

does that make her an expert no

does that give her more knowledge than say the the gov. of any land locked state

Actually all the things you point out are under the watch of the federal government not state government.

California borders Mexico but it is not state officials that watch the border it is the federal government.

So Alaska is not protecting their borders the US military/ coast guard is.

so in the case of your analogy if you want to find out about
US relations with Russia you Go to Washington DC.... or you can go to Moscow... which i don't think you can see from the Alaskan governors mansion

if you want the policy tou go to washington

if you want to know if it works you go to alaska

Obama interrupted when McCain didn't tell the truth. And Obama told him that it wasn't the truth. I thought he kept his cool quite well. He was respectful and showed class.

On the otherhand, I saw McCain sneering and looking like he could be hotheaded. He acted too condescending.

I found it interesting to learn that McCain would vote for the bail-out without even seeing what it is going to say. I'm sure homeowners that are about to lose their homes will love that one.noway

the odd thing is that the bailout will be over and done before either of them takes office so it doesnt matter what either of them would do. so I don't know whay we are so focused on it

I want to know both of their long term visions for America

McCain seemed to get angry, was condescending and wouldn't even look at Obama when talking. How was that a good thing?

Im not gonna get into all the poo tossing. All I'm gonna say is I want an INTELLEGENT person in office that can think for himself and isnt just some yes man thats gonna sign off on some thing without looking onto it or because thats what his political party wants. I would rather pay higher taxes now and ACTUALLY start to fix the problems than put a bandaid on them for the generations to come and complain later that things aren't fixed. I like the fact that Obama isnt "experienced" at all the washington white lies and trojan horses. Im not a politician nor am I am trying to be one. The fact of the matter is the US is in a state of displacement that CANNOT continue this way...

but then again.. ignorance really is bliss isn't itfrustrated

Yes well the DEMS can vote for what they want...they ARE in the majority. they won't even do that without the REPS because that would mean they have to take the blame if it falls thru. So much for DEMS being upfront or honest. In fact, that's the entire OBAMA campaign for yu.
