Is it just me, or does it seem like the gym is one of the crappiest places to meet people at? Every guy's trying to look big, and lift alot of weight to wow the lady people, and for the most part, it seems the girls that go to the gym are just the girls that like the attention of all the personality-less meatheads. Man I wish I had a big enough place and enough money to buy a frieking boflex and olyptical...

And No, I've never even attempted to pick up a lady from the gym... I wouldnt know what to say to not look like a total creeper/meathead.

The gym can be a good place to get to know people. You start seeing them regularly and get to know them.

Well i don't know what kind of gym you go to but, I work at a family gym...........I also work out alot! I have never seen anyonr there to pick up on anyone? People just do their thing & some are frienlyer then others! I have made some friends but, it all just stays there! Been asked out a couple of times but, that can cause problems so I don't make real friendships or anything like that! If your out of shape then it's ok cause your trying but, mostly i see people who are allready in shape keeping it up!

the kind of men I like, never go to the gym...but certainly those places can feel like meat markets sometimes...I just go to work out, and only talk to people who are serious about keeping their body's healthy.
