I've heard ghosts don't appear to non-believers Dude. Do you realize how utterly pathetic you sound? You are doing nothing more than " whistling past the graveyard " because something is out of your realm of understanding. It's actually rather sad. Rather than spout off the old, tired line of " well there are so many cameras, why haven't they got pictures " why don't you try doing a little research ( OMG!!! NOT THAT!!! YOU'D HAVE TO ACTUALLY READ SOMETHING ) and you'll be surprised to find that there are, indeed, plenty of pictures, and witnesses, that shoot your little box of thoughts all to hell. By the way, until you have actually DONE a little research, and have a single clue about the subject you are trying to dismiss...you may want to consider replacing the Genius part of your screen name with something a little more appropriate. |

No wonder why the world is going to ****. Stupid gullible people I can't believe you're single. Such a sweet talker. |

Too bad none of your "evidence" could stand up in a trial to prove that they exist. Next thing you're going to tell me is that harry potter is real because half the world believes in him and there are books about him. If it weren't for your parents telling you so, you'd still believe there is a santa claus too. Jesus is just a grown up version of the santa claus story except no one let you in that there is no jesus |

Too bad none of your "evidence" could stand up in a trial to prove that they exist. Next thing you're going to tell me is that harry potter is real because half the world believe in him and there are books about him No. I won't try to tell you that Harry Potter is real. That would seem to be more along the lines of something you would say since I assume that those books are just about the highest level of Literature you can manage. Actually, it's not too bad for me that my " evidence " couldn't stand up at a trial. On the contrary, it's a shame that just about any jury the evidence would be proposed to, would be made up of small minded, foolish individuals such as you. Let me ask you a question. See if you can wrap your limited capacities around this one and come up with a coherent answer. If mankind ( in general ) has yet to prove everything that IS possible....what gives YOU the right to try to make claims as to what isn't possible?? Are you a scientist?? Does the Genius part of your screen name actually indicate a PH.D. in physics? Or Astronomy perhaps?? After all, you are making some pretty sweeping statements. I would like to know whether you have any actual expertise in the fields required to make statements such as yours, or whether you are just blowing smoke out of your ass and calling it a bunch of facts. I know you'll probably need some time to think your way through that question...so I am gonna go to bed for tonight. I'll see if you came up with anything good ( or just the same old tired rhetoric ) when I get up tomorrow. |

You're missing the point. Red asked for help. We gave advice the best we could. We didn't force beliefs or disbeliefs or judge her. We tried to help. We didn't agree, disagree or argue any points. We didn't cast our own values or our own misconceptions. We just tried to help.

I've heard ghosts don't appear to non-believers Hey there " Genius "....you may just want to check back a page or so. Someone actually SAID that they were a non-believer until something happened to them to MAKE them believe. |

No. I won't try to tell you that Harry Potter is real. That would seem to be more along the lines of something you would say since I ****assume*** that those books are just about the highest level of Literature you can manage. Assuming makes an ASS out of .... Actually, it's not too bad for me that my " evidence " couldn't stand up at a trial. On the contrary, it's a shame that just about any jury the evidence would be proposed to, would be made up of small minded, foolish individuals such as you. LMAO. Okay? Every jury is made up of small minded, foolish individuals? wow. Do you even know what the odds of that happening is? Let me ask you a question. See if you can wrap your limited capacities around this one and come up with a coherent answer. If mankind ( in general ) has yet to prove everything that IS possible....what gives YOU the right to try to make claims as to what isn't possible?? Because ghosts are not proven yet. there is no basis to them. There is no evidence. There ARE optical illusions, pranks, natural phenomenon, that can all be duplicated and used to trick gullible people into thinking they've seen things. 90% of all ghost stories start out as "one of my friends saw..." And 10% are the ones that say they've seen a ghost personally when they don't know what they saw or whether they made it up in their head. A lot of people can see things when they are on drugs, have lack of sleep, medical conditions such as sleep walking. You claim all your experiences happened once, but you seem to never be able to make them happen again. Nor can anyone else. You were just super special to be at a speck of time in an infinite time span to see this ghost appear to you out of no where. Yet if a full camera crew were to follow you for the rest of your life, I bet you won't have incident. Then you will pass it off as not being alone that caused the ghost to wander away. The only way ghosts could ever be taken seriously is when you can take your ghost shopping with you and communicate with him on demand. As a matter of fact, I am a scientist. The PH.D in physics? Oh please. You don't need a PH.D in physics to know whether ghosts exists or not. Even people with PH.D.'s can't prove ghosts exist so you can throw that argument out the window. I have watched every ghost show on the history channel and bravo and all of them failed to find ghosts in the most haunted places in the world. You might want to watch "ghost hunters", a show on actually trying their effing hardest to get something on tape. I know you'll probably need some time to think your way through that question...so I am gonna go to bed for tonight. I'll see if you came up with anything good ( or just the same old tired rhetoric ) when I get up tomorrow. Obviously, you are closed minded to the fact they don't exist, yet you live every day in the real world without ghosts riding in your passenger seat or wacking you off while you go through downtown or putting your parking ticket in the back seat while you aren't looking. It is so foolish to me that you'd group everything that you can't explain in the catagory of ghost |

My old elementary school was haunted, it used to be a WWII hospital then it was turned into school. Was haunted by a nurse, not sure of any back story to it...but me and friend did see it, then hauled ass the hell out of there (we were young then).

Either way, belief has been rooted in man since the beginning of man...can't get around that, and it will be engrained in man for many centuries to come (assuming of course we have many centuries to come). I'm open to all things, I've personally seen ghosts on a couple of occassions...so I do believe they exist. If you don't, so be it...but don't shove your view down other's throat. |

Fair enough, but always remember the "smackdown" goes both ways, and from what I saw, I would have licked my wounds and moved on. Again, JMO - Not stating a side for either view.
