me and my bf have been with each other for 8 years. Our relationship has not advanced one bit. how long should i give him to make up his mind about were he wants up to end up in our relationship or should i just call it quits and walk away so my question is how long is to long to date?

just talk to him about what you want and if it doesn't match with what he wants let him go.

If it was me, I'd have been gone long ago. Just saying. You have to decide what you want out of it and ask for it. If he can't provide, then it's time to go. Only you can know if your getting out of a relationship what you want to.

I have to throw my 2 cents in...I agree after eight years then ya you should know, if not maybe you are just biding your time(you being him). In my opinion sometimes you are better off alone, even for a little while, than to be with someone who is unsure. That being said don't ever ever ever settle, no matter how lonely it gets. Everyone deserves someone perfect for them..Sometimes you gotta kiss a lot of frogs to get to your prince, but girl you been kissin that frog for too long...

It's really easy to get comfortable with someone, it doesn't mean that you should be together. you really shouldn't be with someone for the sake of being with someone. If you can't be happy by yourself, you'll never be happy with someone. When you meet the right person, I figure it should just click. If it hasn't clicked ater 8 years, maybe it just never will.

My problem is i am worrie if i do walk away i will end up alone.. I fell like there will not be anyone else that will want me ^^^^ I bet he banks on that emotion and abuses having you around. |
