Is there something that makes certain profiles stand out more than others or is it just me? what makes them pop up on the main page? and what not and how do they determine that? Besides all of those questions....what have you all noticed that makes profiles stand out?

I haven't found a profile yet that stands out and also has a follow-through that's worth spit.
The real stand-out ladies that I've met here don't have much in their profile, but in person they are real gems. We keep in touch, and we are becoming friends and communicate almost daily. Nobody gives their profiles a second look, and that's the way they like it. They choose whom interests them, and they initiate contact.
